Time Through Motion

Time is understood through motion, without this, there is no visual perception of time passing. We recognise that actions have a start and finish and that between those two markers something has happened and therefore time has passed. Our days are built up of continuous actions that involve an acknowledgment of time. This project sought to depict that within one singular image playing with the idea of capturing time.

I focussed on my own use of time with a strong link to my (obsessive) enjoyment of coffee shops and how I can spend large chunks of time unknowingly in these places. This became the subject of this project.
