South America

Amidst an undeniably, unavoidable expanding world the ability to capture moments of personal solitude is something I treasure.

This journey through South America mirrors my fascination with people watching and cherishing the beauty of getting lost. I found tranquillity in the unhurried pace, embracing unexpected detours, whether in the midst of nowhere or amidst the chaos of a bustling city. The lens, allowing me to find these moments, capturing not just images, but the essence of calmness and contentment that washes over me.

In these quiet pauses, I find art in the journey, transforming fleeting scenes into timeless images, and immersing myself in the profound beauty of the present.

Monte Fitz Roy - Patagonia, Argentina

In 3.5 months, I explored 5 countries spanning across Central and South America. From the humid, lush rainforests of Costa Rica, through the arid Salar De Uyuni in Bolivia to the deep wilds of Patagonia and Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.

It became a challenge to continue to emphasise the beauty and wonder of each place and capture the awe-inspiring feeling that just seemed to continue. However, a mix of landscape, wildlife and street photography comes together to culminate a portfolio that attempts to portray this.

I continue to pour over the numerous photos, retrospectively learning more about each place I’ve visited.
